Our commitment
SUARDIAZ Group’s sustainability strategy is based on our commitment to the sustainable development of our activities and the environments we operate in.
SUARDIAZ Group has joined the United Nations Global Compact. The Management of SUARDIAZ Group strengthens its support of the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact with regard to Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption. In the Communication on Progress (CoP)/annual Progress Report we disclose our continuous efforts to incorporate the Ten Principles into our business strategy and to contribute to the UN goals, in particular as regards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
SUARDIAZ Group draws up a consolidated Non-financial reporting statement (EINF) each year, in line with current legislation and the Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI), taking materiality into account depending on the stakeholders identified and the impact of business activity on each area (Environment, Social and Personal Issues, Human Rights, Corruption and Bribery, and Society).
Our corporate governance
Our good governance system is based on a number of policies and protocols that ensure that the entire company complies with the legal and ethical regulations of being a leading company in the logistics sector, as SUARDIAZ Group is.
From the outset in 1943, we have been fostering a culture of compliance. Over the years, we have adapted to new situations to remain faithful to our commitment to comply with standards of ethical and responsible professional conduct, in accordance with the law, and the good practices included in our code of ethics. This is compulsory for all shareholders, consultants, directors, employees, professionals, co-workers, clients, suppliers, as well as other interested parties and stakeholders of SUARDIAZ Group.
Our corporate values reflect our commitment to integrity and we have implemented mechanisms to follow these up so that we remain a benchmark in terms of our actions and ensure best practices throughout the logistics chain.
In accordance with the stipulations set forth in Act 2/2023, of 20 February, regulating the protection of persons who report on regulatory and anti-corruption infringements, SUARDIAZ Group has implemented an Internal Reporting System and an ethics channel that, as a means for consultation, allows interested parties and other stakeholders to communicate enquiries, questions and suggestions and, as a means for reporting, allows these same parties to communicate irregular conduct or any breach of current legislation.

Our commitment to quality, the environment and occupational health and safety
Integrated Management System (IMS)
The Management of SUARDIAZ Group, with a view to guaranteeing the provision of the service that it offers and aware of the fact that quality, the environment, occupational health and safety and sustainability are basic foundations in the development of its activity, has implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) based on requirements of continuous improvement as well as those set forth in the following regulations to head up its activities: UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality management system, UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management system, UNE-EN ISO 14064-1:2019 Verification of greenhouse gases UNE-EN ISO 45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management system.
This Integrated Management System features an integrated policy on quality, environment and occupational health and safety which acts as a guide and incorporates its principles. The Management of SUARDIAZ Group is committed to encouraging active compliance of this policy among all of the organisation’s staff and all stakeholders with a view to ensuring that our services adapt to client requirements, respecting the environment and protecting employee health and safety.
