Romina Fernández, director of the Suardíaz Logistics in Galicia, was invited on May the 8th to the last meeting of Sumamos, a network of professional women responsible for giving visibility to women in their fields of work and professional sectors.
In this meeting at the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia, more than twenty directors and executives from different sectors participated in a luncheon-discussion that embroached on the growing role of women managers in industrial environments and what can be done to keep improving.
Romina Fernández spoke about her experience, highlighting the Suardiaz employees policy that, among others, facilitates the family reconciliation of women. She also highlighted the impact that Autopista del Mar has on the creation of opportunities in the region’s economy.
For Sumamos, the objective is to recognize women who are prominent and powerful in their sectors, who perhaps because they are not part of the traditional business image, lack the visibility they deserve.
