Suardiaz Group has purchased a hospital indemnity insurance for all its staff. More than 700 workers are now covered with an additional guaranteed pay compensation in the event of being hospitalized as a result of contagion by COVID-19.
The insurance will give employees a daily compensation from the third day of hospitalization if they have been affected by the virus. The policy has been signed through Willis Towers Watson, a company specialized in risk management, and subscribed with VidaCaixa, the insurance group of CaixaBank.
“With this product, and with the guarantee of having managed it through solid companies in the insurance sector, we offer a solution that will provide all our employees with extra protection during these difficult times that we are currently experiencing as a consequence of the health crisis caused by the coronavirus”, states the HR department of Suardiaz Group.
