Suardiaz at the Motorways of the Sea & Climate Action 2020 Conference

Last Thursday, April 4th, Mr. Juan Riva, CEO of Suardiaz Group, participated as a speaker at the Motorways of the Sea & Climate Action 2020 Conference. In this meeting different issues were addressed, all related to the near facing future for ports, shipping companies and logistics operators in terms of energy and environmental efficiency.

The event was organized by the “Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport”, a European leading training centre of intermodal transport and maritime logistics. Representatives of several shipping companies and of the ports of Barcelona, ​​TangerMed and Genoa were invited to participate.

The conference focused mainly on the responsiveness of shipping lines and ports, to the growing environmental demands in terms of shipping from today to the year 2030.

Mr. Juan Riva, on behalf of Suardiaz Group, participated in the panel on “Environmental issues for Shipping lines, opportunities and challenges”,  jointly with other leaders from large companies in the maritime industry, such as Grimaldi and GNV.
